Can an air rifle break through bone?
It is possible, although extremely unlikely, for an air rifle pellet to break through bone. That applies whether it’s a BB, .177 or .22 pellet. That being said, pellets can most definitely break through skin, can damage bones (particularly thin and weak ones), and can be deadly.
