I purchased one of these Super Scope Slips from The Wolfman to use with my Weihrauch HW97K and a Hawke Airmax 30 WA SF 8-32×50 scope mounted on top of it. My rifle and scope combination fit easily into this slip and it provides a good amount of protection. The inside of the slip has a good layer of padding incorporated and the zip closure is robust. It also has a useful zipped pocket on one side which is ideal for a couple of tins of pellets. The overall construction of the slip I purchased is neatly done and the heavy duty fabric looks like it will last many years. The handles and shoulder strap are made from a durable woven nylon making them comfortable to use. In summary I am very happy with this rifle slip and rate it five stars.

Thick padding, soft nylon lining, sturdy handles, zips and adjustable shoulder strap. The Super Slip doesn’t sag unlike my rectangular ‘drag’ bag where the rifle is held in place by straps attached to the inside lining.
What fits? HW100S with a benchrest ‘sled’ and Hawke Endurance scope with a 50mm objective.
Some measurements may help others trying to work out what’ll fit:
Height of rifle and scope across tallest point: 22cm
Length of rifle, including moderator: 107cm. There’s a further 10cm to spare inside the case at the butt end
Length from tip of moderator to scope objective lens: 42cm
Circumference of rifle across all widest/tallest points: 52cm
Width of rifle at widest point (actually the scope turrets): 8cm
What would perfection be? Stitching the centre of the carry handles so they’re half the width but twice the thickness, like the haul loops on some rucksacks. A stitched on velcro handle wraparound to keep the two handles together (like the SwissArms). A further D-ring near the end of the zip when closed to put a small padlock or kneeboard-type loop through to make sure the zip can’t open and dump your rifle on the deck, because when you shoulder-carry it muzzle up, the zip opening is at the bottom. That hasn’t happened, but better safe than sorry. A black leather logo on the black case as the beige leather one isn’t as discreet as I’d like walking to my local range. It didn’t take leather dye well, a fuzzy velcro self-adhesive patch didn’t stick to it, so I ended up slicing the stitching and taking the label off completely. Someone else I know has done the same on the camo version. Most assume it’s a fishing rod as a river’s nearby.
All said and done, a great gunslip for the money, especially with Wolfman points and free p&p. Recommended.
