1 review for Wulf Fireball 3-9×40 AO Rifle Scope with Mounts

  1. Rob Wendes (verified owner)

I compared this against a Hawke (+£12) and a Victoptics (÷£12) at 35metres. 3-9×40 ought to be good up to 100metres.

Optics quality is so so. Hawke much better VictOptics also (surprisingly) much better.
I was hoping for great things in the reticule but it feels a very heavy reticule compared to the Victoptics especially, which extends the reticule across most of the field of view. The Hawke is a thinner reticule also.
Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t buy this to save £12. The optics on the Hawke are really good. What it has shown is that even a cheap VictOptics scope can shine and Wulf isn’t going to be on my top list of scope providers.
Just an o.k. scope, but better low cost scopes out there.
